“Oh, do not tell the Priest our plight,
Or he would call it a sin;
But– we have been out in the woods all night,
A-conjuring Summer in!
And we bring you news by word of mouth–
Good news for cattle and corn–
Now is the Sun coming up from the South,
With Oak, and Ash, and Thorn!”
~ Rudyard Kipling

Happy “a-maying” to you and everyone! Wink-wink-nudge-nudge!
Happy happiness making to all my friends in the NH…us in the SH did Sumhuinn….
Happy Samhuinn Nikki! I hope your visit from the dead is a pleasant one!
Hurray, Hurray,
tis the first of May,
out door screwing begins today!
It’s about damn time too! One’s bottom just gets a bit too chilly frolicking in the woods in winter….
Nikiah,
Bahahaha! Love it!
It was good to see a representation of Old Hornie with your Beltane greetings!
May Day in my part of England was not much of a herald of summer as it traditionally is supposed to be. In fact it was showery with a chilly wind. Mind you, because the winter was the coldest for thirty years, spring has been late this year.
Have a great Bealtuinn hun, and I nominated you for a blogging award! ;-p
