I just finished embroidering three more squares on the Ogham quilt – Oak (duir), Heather (ur), and Reed (ngetal). Just seven more squares to go! Then I have to add all the borders and do the quilting. A few more months yet I think, a good winter project for curling up in my big comfy chair with tea and a movie.

Just lovely! It is going to be an absolutely breathtaking (and magical) quilt when it is done.
Lovely work! I sew but haven’t tried quilting yet. I do a lot of work with the Ogham in my own practice, so you’ve left me feeling inspired.
So beautiful! I love the idea of curling up with needlework in cold weather & then ending up with a beautiful quilt full of memories of coziness.
Thank you all so much! I’m excited to see it finished as right now I just can’t picture how it’s going to look! I also need to find a nice piece of wood to finish to hang it from, something with a beautiful grain and colour…
